Dr. Nathaniel Horn
Dr. Nathaniel Horn is a native Chicagoan who attended Bradley University and received dual degrees in psychology and sociology. He completed a master’s degree in Biology from the University of Chicago, and later, a degree in medicine from the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.
Dr. Horn spent his residency in the internal medicine program at Illinois Masonic Medical Center and upon completion, was then accepted into the University of Chicago’s resident program in Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine. He spent three years as an attending physician at the University of Chicago and then accepted the position of Chairman of the Department of Anesthesiology at Jackson Park Hospital in Chicago, IL.
Among his other accomplishments, Dr. Horn is the founder of an anesthesia group that provides services to the tri-state area of Wisconsin, Illinois and Indiana. Dr. Horn joined the office of the Chicago Boston Medical Group in 2001 and currently serves as the primary physician for the Chicago office.
Dr. William Livingston
Dr. William Livingston joined the Costa Mesa Boston Medical Group in 2006 as the primary physician of the Costa Mesa, CA office. After obtaining his undergraduate degree from Delta State University, he attended the University of Mississippi, and received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania. A member of the United States Navy and Medical Corp., Dr. Livingston completed his residency in Urology at the US Naval Hospital in Philadelphia. He worked for numerous naval hospitals including the U.S. Naval Hospital in Yokosuna, Japan, where he served as a Chief of Urology. After leaving the Navy he served as an Assistant Professor of Urology at the University of Tennessee School Of Medicine. He later established a successful, private practice in Arcadia, CA.
Outside of the office Dr. Livingston’s interests include investment research, continuing medical education online, chess, bridge, fishing and flying his own plane, mainly to great fishing spots.
Dr. Allen S. Plotkin
Dr. Allen Plotkin graduated from the University of Wisconsin where he earned both his bachelors and medical degrees. He began his professional career as an intern at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Milwaukee and later completed his urology residency at the University of Iowa. Now a board certified urologist, he is also greatly involved in numerous medical charities and community organizations and also volunteered his medical services to the victims of Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
When asked why he became a physician, Dr. Plotkin’s answers simply, “I like people.” It’s easy to see not only his comfortable interaction with patients, but also his genuine dedication to their health and overall wellbeing.
Dr. Plotkin joined the Dallas Boston Medical Group in 2008 as the head physician of the Dallas location. He says he enjoys the daily interactions with his patients, hearing about their life experiences, and most important, being able to make a positive contribution in their health and personal relationships.
Dr. Edward Ferdon
Dr. Edward J. Ferdon has worked as the primary physician at Boston Medical Group’s Fort Lauderdale, FL office since early 2002. A native of South Carolina, he earned a B.A. from Furman University and went on to receive a law degree from Loyola Law School and a medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Ferdon completed his residency in internal medicine at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, CA and Los Angeles County Medical Center, schools affiliated with the University of Southern California School of Medicine. He is licensed to practice medicine in Florida, Georgia, and California and is also a member of the California State Bar.
While at the Ft. Lauderdale Boston Medical Group, Dr. Ferdon has helped thousands of patients of all ages and medical conditions regain their sexual health, and he looks forward to treating future patients and enhancing their general physical health, emotional well being, and quality of life.
Outside the office Dr. Ferdon enjoys exercise, reading, politics, studying foreign languages, and international travel, especially in Latin America.
Dr. Daniel Tuft
Dr. Daniel Tuft was born in Atlantic City, N.Y. and attended Trinity College in Connecticut. He receiving his medical degree from the University of Colorado, and later, and M.B.A from Sonoma State University. Dr. Tuft completed his medical residency in Internal Medicine at St. Mary’s Hospital in San Francisco. He joined the University of Washington’s School of Medicine in Seattle, WA, and practiced in the field of Allergy and Immunology. Aside from being an accomplished physician, Dr. Tuft was also active in the military, having served two years in the Air Force and eighteen years in the U.S. Army Reserves. He retired in 1999 at the rank of Colonel. Having joined Boston Medical Group in 2003, Dr. Tuft enjoys the daily interaction with his patients, and especially enjoys hearing the positive results they see from the treatment programs he oversees.
When away from the Houston Boston Medical Group office, Dr. Tuft enjoys cooking and remodeling his home, and he considers his youngest daughter as a great inspiration because of her dedication to the community service.
Dr. Jeffrey Rose
Dr. Rose is a graduate of the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He has over 25 years experience in Primary Care and Pain Management in Michigan and Arizona.
Dr. Rose is Board Certified in Family Practice. He is an advocate of preventive healthcare and believes that men’s health is becoming a large issue along with the aging of our population.
Outside the office Dr. Rose enjoys playing tennis, softball and spending time with his family. He is glad to be helping the men of Arizona.
Dr. Lawrence J. Zelonis
Dr. Lawrence J. Zelonis serves as the primary physician at Boston Medical Group’s Pittsburgh office. After receiving a pharmacy degree from Duquesne University, he studied osteopathic medicine at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is certified by the American College of Osteopathic Physicians, and has practiced medicine throughout his career at St. Clair Medical Suites, Kane Hospital and Divine Providence Hospital. He has also served important roles in numerous research and clinical studies relating to blood pressure, sinusitis, diabetes, and allergies.
For Dr. Zelonis, working at Boston Medical Group is a satisfying experience which allows him to improve not only men’s sexual health, but their overall health as well. He refers to the positive feedback given by his patients as “truly rewarding”.
A father of three children, Dr. Zelonis has been an active member of the Elks National Foundation for the past 14 years. He is also an active member of the American Osteopathic Association and the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association.
Dr. John J. Fina
Dr. John J. Fina, is a board certified Internist with over thirty years of medical experience. In conjunction with his Master’s Degree in Biochemical Pharmacology, he was employed under a New York State Research Grant as a Research Scientist, conducting independent cancer research with experimental lymphosarcomas. He received his M.D. from the State University of New York at Buffalo and completed an Internal Medicine residency at Buffalo University Affiliated and Millard Fillmore Hospitals. He has also participated in several Medicine Preceptorship Programs at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle.
His career in medicine has encompassed all aspects of Primary Care. His past positions include, but are not limited to, County Public Health Officer in Garfield County, Montana, Medical Director of the Garfield County Health Center, and Chairman in the Department of Medicine at the Billings Office and Deaconess Medical Center. He counts diabetes, hypertension, addictive diseases, and male sexual dysfunction as his special interests, and he has given many lectures about these issues to medical students, therapists, and other physicians.
Since he began working for Boston Medical Group’s Seattle, WA office in 2003, Dr. Fina has dedicated his career to helping patients with their sexual health needs. He views male sexual dysfunction as a challenging and important issue, and encourages his patients to speak freely about their conditions, and also to include their partner in the discussions when possible. Dr. Fina is proud to be able to share his wealth of medical experience with his patients, and considers dealing with each and every one a privilege.
Dr. Rajesh Puri
Dr Rajesh Puri graduated with honors from University College of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, India in 1982. Aside from earning a degree in medicine, Dr .Puri also received a diploma in Public Health and Hygiene from the same institution. His post graduate pursuit includes a 3 year pediatric residency at Howard University Hospital in Washington D.C., where he was honored with the best intern award, the best overall resident award and also the Marie and Oscar Randolph award.
Dr Puri has been in private practice since 1987, working in general medicine for the first 10 years. Thereafter, he served as the Medical Director for the Virginia offices of the American Vein Institute of Phlebology associates from 1998 to 2003, a specialty practice focusing in the diagnosis and management of venous disorders and varicose veins. His experience and interest in venous diseases and circulatory conditions led him to study sexual dysfunction. He accepted a position with the Boston Medical Group in 2003 and he is currently the primary physician at the Tyson’s Corner, Virginia office.
Dr Puri is a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Phlebology and the American Association of Physicians of India. He is an active humanitarian, a philanthropist and a volunteer with several charitable organizations.
Dr. John M. Hayes
As a board certified OB/GYN, Dr. John Hayes is always pleasantly surprised by his patients’ overwhelmingly positive reaction to his background. Prior to joining the Washington D.C. Boston Medical Group as the primary physician of its Washington D.C. location, Dr. Hayes ran a successful, private practice for over 30 years. He earned his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and later completed his residency at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital.
During his tenure as Chief Resident at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, he was awarded the prestigious John P. Emich Award for Bedside Manner.
It is the personal belief of Dr. Hayes that most physicians enter the medical field because they like helping people, and he himself is no different. He enjoys working with patients and relishes the opportunity to help them restore their self-image, and improve their relationships and overall well being.
Dr. Daniel Thomas
Dr. Daniel Thomas, D.O. is the Medical Director of our Orlando, Florida office. With 25 years of experience, he has been a forward-thinking leader in preventive medicine, nutrition, and fitness. Recognizing the enormous impact of improving a man's sexual health on his overall health and that of his family, Dr Thomas dedicates a significant portion of his career not only to provide expert care to his male patients, but also to help improve their partner's sexual health. Dr. Thomas is fellowship-trained in Anti-Aging, Regenerative and Functional Medicine. He is also publisher of the acclaimed health newsletter called Forever Young. Dr. Thomas focuses on creating wellness by identifying the underlying cause of disease, then individualizing the treatment. In order to stay at the forefront of medicine, he is completing the ground-breaking postdoctoral Master’s degree in Metabolic and Nutritional Medicine from the University of South Florida College of Medicine. This advanced degree provides a much deeper understanding of human biochemistry and physiology than is taught in medical school. It also details the latest and most effective methods to prevent and treat disease. Following the Master's degree, Dr. Thomas will be pursuing PhD degree in Metabolic and Nutritional Medicine. Why so much additional education? As Dr. Thomas puts it, "It’s because medical school and residency are no longer enough, and because I am committed to the goal of providing the best care possible to my patients."
