What is a Penis Implant?

A penis implant can help men who previously thought their impotence was irrevocable. A penis implant is made up of tubes that are implanted into the corpus cavernosa (a pair of sponge-like regions which hold most of the blood during an erection) and inflated by a pump located in the scrotum. When a man wants an erection, he simply presses on the scrotum and a fluid fills the tubes, mimicking the blood flow that occurs during a typical erection. Men who would like some size added to their penis may be able to have larger tubes implanted to increase its size.

Contrary to popular belief, a penile implant surgery is not the only alternative available when oral medications fail to treat erectile dysfunction.

The Boston Method® provides a wide range of less invasive treatments so our patients can get the best results without having to undergo unnecessary surgery. Our staff of expert physicians works one on one with patients throughout the course of treatment until the patient has attained satisfactory results.

Considering a Penis Implant?

Are you suffering from impotence or the painful scarring or bending of penile tissues that stems from Peyronie’s disease? You may need to have a penis implant surgery. A penis implant can help men with severe cases of impotence, but there are many less invasive methods available at Boston Medical Group. Before you take the next step and undertake a complicated penis implant surgery, consult a physician at Boston Medical Group to see if they can recommend a less strenuous procedure.

It’s always wise to get a second opinion before embarking on any kind of penis implant procedure.
