What can I do to improve my sexual health?

  • Communicate with your partner: Your concerns are their concerns as well and talking about your concerns can strengthen the bond. Take time to talk about your needs with your partner, discussing your concerns with your partner can offer some reassurance.
  • Change your Routine:  Try mixing things up in the bedroom, if you normally engage in sexual activity at night, after a long day at work, try the morning after a full night’s rest.  You’ll be energized and relaxed.
  • Take care of your body: Maintaining a healthy sex life is directly affected by how well you maintain the health of your body. Eating healthily and exercising on a regular basis can improve your sexual health, even if it is only for 30 minutes each day.
  • Talk to a physician: It is not uncommon to feel hesitant to talk to your doctor about concerns with your sexual health but a physician will be prepared to answer your questions and present appropriate options that best fit your needs.
