Dr Puri graduated with honors from University College of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, India in 1982. Besides a degree in medicine, Dr .Puri also received a diploma in Public Health and Hygiene from the same institution.
His post graduate pursuits after medical school included a 3 year residency at Howard University Hospital in Washington D.C. where he was honored with the best intern award, was bestowed upon with the best 3 year resident award, and received the Marie and Oscar Randolph award.
Dr Puri has been in clinical practice combined with a healthy mix of teaching, managerial and administrative responsibilities. He was exclusively in Primary care in the early part of his career 1987 to 1997, and during that time served on various hospital committees, namely Perinatal, Infectionsdisease, and Utilization review.

If you’re driving to Alexandria via Interstate 95, keep right at the fork to continue on I-395 North. Follow signs to Interstate 395. At exit 170A and 170B, keep right at the fork and follow signs for I-395 North Washington/ I-495 North Tysons Corner. Next, look for and take exit 5 for VA-7/ King Street. Then, keep left at the fork and follow signs for VA-7 West/ King Street West to merge onto VA-7/ King Street. Then make a left onto Park Center drive and another left onto Ford Avenue. Then make a last left onto the parking lot and it should be the building at the end of the lot.
