What to Expect with my Telemedicine Onboarding Process
Dear Patient,
Thank you for signing up. In preparation for the onboarding process, please review the following information:
1. Your first appointment with the Treatment Coordinator (TC) and Questionnaires.
TC is knowledgeable about all the different treatment options available. He can explain to you the advantages and disadvantages of each option and help you make the best decision for your particular situation. Please set aside about 15 minutes for this appointment.
In preparation for this step, please fill out this questionnaire in advance of your appointment.
2. Your second appointment with the telemedicine doctor at BeyondMD.
Once the onboarding process is completed with the TC, we will set up another appointment for you with the telemedicine doctor to get your prescription approved. Please set aside 5-10 minutes for this appointment.
- You will receive an email from frontdesk@beyondmd.com to that effect. You will need to call in at the appointment time by dialing (800) 268-7713, and choosing option 2.
- You may be required to upload your driver’s license or state issued ID, as required by state law.
3. When do I receive my treatment package?
Your prescription is tailored-made for your condition and will be filled by third party laboratories. The typical processing time is as follows:
- From telemedicine consult (step 2 above) to lab submission: same day or next day
- From Lab to patients: 1-2 days. No shipping on Fridays (or weekends).
*Note: the pharmacies are currently experiencing some shortages and wait times may be longer
So in general, if the telemedicine consult is at the front half of the week, you can expect on average 2-3 business days to receive your shipment.
If it is at the latter half of the week, expect it early following week.
You will also receive tracking information so that you can plan ahead of time.
Note: Shipping of ICP is next day with ice; 2 days for tablets/troches/peptide.
