What to expect with my telemedicine onboarding
Congratulations on your decision to seek treatment!
Please read the following information to understand the steps involved. Once these steps are completed, you are officially admitted to our telemedicine platform. Future renewal of your medication is much simpler and faster.
1. Read the information sent to you by your counselors regarding your particular treatment.
2. Answer the questionnaires, sent to you via text or email. Please do take time to answer them in as much details as possible, prior to the appointment with the Treatment Coordinator.
Note: To save time, please do submit a list of medications that you are taking on a regular basis, if any, including drugs name and dosage.
3. Appointment with Treatment Coordinator (10 minutes)
Treatment Coordinator is knowledgeable about many treatment options available. He is going to onboard you to the telemedicine platform and reviewing your answers to the questionnaires mentioned above.
4. Appointment with the telemedicine doctor (5 min)
Once the onboarding process (step 3) is completed, we will set up another appointment for you with the telemedicine doctor to get your prescription approved and processed.
- You will receive an email from frontdesk@beyondmd.com to that effect. You will need to call in at the appointment time by dialing 800 268 7713, and choose option 2.
- You are required to upload your driver’s license or state issued ID
For regulatory compliance, doctors and pharmacies must be able to identify who you are and your shipping address. If your shipping address is different from your ID card, you will also need to submit proof of address which can be car registration, utility bill etc. Please rest assured that your privacy is protected by law and these requirements are in HIPPA compliance and necessary to process your order.
5. Filling your prescription
Once completing the doctor’s appointment above, your prescription is submitted to a trusted third-party compounding pharmacy within 24 hours, which is then typically filled within 2-3 days and shipped directly to you via next day delivery service for most cases.
What is the overall expected time?
If the telemedicine consult (step 5) takes place at the front half of the week, say Mon, Tues, Wed, you can expect delivery towards the end of the week or early the following week. If it takes place towards the end of the week, say Thursday or Friday, expect delivery early or mid-week the following week.
There are unforeseeable reasons for any delay in shipment. Please let us know if you have not received your shipment over a week since completing the appointment with the doctors. We will follow up with the pharmacy and keep you informed.
